The textual forecasts of this bulletin refer to the area represented in the map above and therefore concern the entire provinces of Asti and Alessandria and the territories of Langhe, Roero and Monferrato.
Cielo: sunny with little or partly cloudy conditions.
Rainfall: absent.
Temperature: slightly decreasing; daily temperature extremes in Asti: +19°C / +20°C. Minimum temperatures anywhere between +17°C and +21°C and maximum values between +24°C and +28°C with lower values in Alta Langa above 6/700 m (+21/+23°C).
Venti: moderate from the south-east due to marine conditions on Langhe and Basso Alessandrino with gusts up to 50-60 km/h at hilly altitudes. During the afternoon, ventilation will extend to all sectors, but they will remain weak north of the Tanaro.
Synoptic analysis and trend for the next few days: the African anticyclone over the Western Mediterranean gives way to cooler and more unstable Atlantic currents. After peak temperatures of 32-33°C on Friday 28th, temperatures are expected to drop back below 30°C. Possibility of new rains and thunderstorms on Saturday 29th (only on the Alps and Northern Piedmont) and then on Monday 1st July (widespread also on Langhe, Roero and Monferrato). On Saturday, between the afternoon and evening, locally severe bad weather conditions could be recorded: violent thunderstorms are expected with cloudbursts on the Alps and areas north of the Po, medium-large hailstorms and strong gusts of wind on the plains of Canavese and Northern Piedmont, while south of the Po it should remain mostly dry.
Monday 1 July: sunny with scattered clouds and local showers and thunderstorms between the afternoon and evening. Stationary temperatures: minimums of +16/+20°C and maximums of +24/+28°C.
Tuesday 2nd July: sunny with scattered clouds. Stationary temperatures: minimum of +16/+20°C and maximum of +24/+28°C.
Wednesday 3 July: variable with scattered showers and thunderstorms between afternoon and evening. Stationary temperatures: minimum of +16/+20°C and maximum of +24/+28°C.
