Chain reactioncontroversy breaks out: the public just isn’t into it, here’s what happened in the last few episodes.
With the arrival of summer One of the Rai early evening programs most loved by Italians also returns: Chain reaction, this year hosted by Pino Insegno. The game show officially restarted last June 3rd and we should see it on the small screen every evening on Rai 1 from 6.45pm to 8pm until around November 2nd.
The return of the show immediately sparked some controversy, especially for the choice of the conductor. Many viewers, in fact, expected Marco Liorni to be the presenter of the program, as had been the case since 2019.
The protests, however, did not end there during the last episodes of the show there was no shortage of criticism and accusations towards the production. Here’s what happened.

As we mentioned earlier, in the latest episodes of Chain reactionin particular on Saturday 15 June 2024, there was no shortage of criticism from fans. The current champions, the PolpositionRita, Tecla and Cristina, three girls from Brescia, ei Frontmannamely Federico, Pietro and Giuseppe of Milan.
To get the better ofWinning Agreement once again it was the Polpositions, who were able to play for the final victory, starting from a prize pool worth 99 thousand euros. After a not particularly complex chain the girls reached the final word with a prize of 12,375 euros. A figure which then dropped at the last moment to 6,188 euros. Anyway, the contestants managed to win the sum by guessing the solution (the word Straight), as had already happened in last Thursday’s episode.
Yet another victory in such a short time fans of the program would therefore have rebelled against the production. Yes, because viewers at home would in fact have found that the final question would often be too simple to identify. “Right… but it’s embarrassingly banal” commented a user on X, as also reported by Free. “Well… what else could there be???” adds another viewer shortly after.
“No more alternation, as happened in past editions: today the final chain and also the words of theWinning Agreement they’re all always simple” someone else observed, annoyed by the outcome of the episode. And again: “Money given away as a gift #chainreaction”. In short, the public apparently isn’t liking the choices made this year by the production of Chain reaction. We’ll see if over the next few episodes the format will somehow manage to redeem itself.
