PRIVERNO – In a tragic accident, Roberto Grasso, a 57-year-old lieutenant colonel of the Air Force and resident of Priverno, lost his life following a motorbike collision in Viterbo. Grasso, on duty at the General Staff in Rome, was riding his motorcycle when he collided with a car driven by a 90-year-old man on the Cassia road near Acquapendente. Despite rapid first aid, Grasso died in hospital due to the serious injuries he sustained.
A highly esteemed officer known for his altruism and dedication, Grasso, resident in Priverno, had a long and distinguished career in the Air Force, with missions also abroad. His untimely death left the Priverno community and his colleagues in deep mourning. Grasso is remembered fondly by his family, made up of his wife and two children, and by colleagues who praised his dedication and kindness.
