The American space agency, better known as NASA, has dedicated an asteroid to the Italian singer Annalisa in virtue of her degree in physics obtained before breaking into the world of music.

Now, by virtue of the physic degree obtained even before participating in the talent show Amici who gave her popularity by helping her to start her climb in the music market, the American space agency has decided to dedicate a tribute to her: an asteroid which has been given her name, 20014 Annalisa.

“She has a degree in physics but has made her mark in the music industry, achieving considerable international success with her songs that have won awards and numerous platinum records.”, wrote NASA in the sheet describing the celestial body discovered in 1991 by the American astronomer Henry E. Holt. The asteroid has a diameter of 4,441 km. The card also shares its technical details, location and trajectory.

That of NASA is a real homage, so much so that the prestigious CV of the Italian singer even appears on the official website of the American Space Agency. The last time that NASA managed to sight 20014 Annalisa thanks to her powerful telescopes was last May, two months after the singer brought the song “Sincerely” to the Sanremo stage. The tribute from NASA awarded the recognition to Annalisa not by chance. The singer sold 3.9 million records in Italy, becoming the Italian artist with the most copies sold in the Fimi era. She has also obtained numerous awards: the Global Force Award at the Billboard Women in Music 2024, for the first time awarded to an Italian artist, an MTV Europe Music Award, five Music Awards, the Lunezia award, the Mia Martini award, two Velvet Awards and two Italian Videoclip awards.
