Skoda anticipates its future by revealing the first information of New Skoda Elroqa new C-segment SUV destined to become a point of reference in the market of electric cars in Europe over the next few months. This is a key element of Skoda’s strategy to launch six new electric vehicles over the next few years. Among these will be the new Skoda Epiq. Il design is still “hidden”, in view of the official presentation, but the preview provides various indications on the characteristics of the Skoda Elroq, considering, in particular, engine, drums e autonomy. SKODA ELROQ: FEATURES AND DIMENSIONS
The New Skoda Elroq was developed starting from the modular platform MEB of the Volkswagen Group. It will be a C-segment SUV with a length of approximately 4.5 meters. For now, the company has not yet released all the “measurements” of the model. It is confirmed, however, that the inspiration will be the Modern Solid designwith a revised front compared to the current models in the Skoda range. There will be thin, horizontally developed LED headlights as well as a light strip that will run across the entire front. Inside, Skoda promises a spacious passenger compartment, with a 470 liter trunk which can be increased up to 1,580 litres.
SKODA ELROQ: BATTERY AND RANGE
The New Skoda Elroq will arrive on the market in various configurations, with three cuts of drums:
Full details on the Skoda Elroq’s range have not yet been released, but the version with the larger battery should be able to travel a distance of 100 km on a single charge. up to 560 kilometers, in the WLTP cycle. - 60: engine from 150 kW63 kWh battery, rear-wheel drive and a top speed of 160 km/h
- 85: engine from 210 kW82 kWh battery, rear-wheel drive and a top speed of 180 km/h
- 85x: double electric motor from 220 kW82 kW battery, all-wheel drive and a top speed of 180 km/h
In the future, the range could grow with the arrival of an entry-level variant and a sports version. These novelties could arrive during 2025.
SKODA ELROQ: PRICES AND AVAILABILITY
Skoda, for the moment, has not yet released detailed information on prices e availability of the new Skoda Elroq. Everything is postponed for a few weeks, with the official presentation ever closer.
