“After the consensual termination of the contract with Giuseppe Scurto, whom the Club greets and thanks for the work carried out in these two years in the Granata, the Torino Football Club is pleased to announce that Felice Tufano is the new coach of the Primavera”. This is the official note with which the Granata club announces the arrival of the new coach for the youth team. The statement continues as follows:
“Tufano was born on 6 December 1963 in Brescia. A former professional footballer, he wore the shirts of Vigor Lamezia, Brindisi, Campobasso and Brescia among others. Having embarked on a career as a coach, after a few seasons as a first team coach, he specialized in leading youth teams working in our football nurseries: he boasts great experience in the Primavera championship having gained more than 200 benches in this category, also achieving appreciable results such as first place with Sampdoria in the 2020-’21 regular season and the achievement of the playoffs in the following season. In addition to the team’s game organisation, Tufano has always paid close attention to the player’s individual growth. Last year he was the technical coordinator of the Feralpisalò youth sector. The 2024-’25 season of the Granata Primavera will begin with the training camp on 8 July in Turin. The entire Torino Football Club welcomes Felice Tufano with a warm welcome: good work, Always Forza Toro!”.
