The drama, which the police are now investigating, occurred late this afternoon in via Cascina Spelta.
The child fell from the balcony of one of the two twin buildings in this area of Pavia, near Viale Lodi. The little boy, who fell in the internal courtyard, was immediately rescued and rushed to San Matteo, where he was transferred to the intensive care unit.
The police intervened on the scene. Forensic technicians were also present. Investigators are currently conducting inspections. The conditions of the 18-month-old child of Congolese origins, who fell from the fourth floor of a building in via Cascina Spelta, on the outskirts of Pavia, remain very serious.
