Starting in the morning with the Parade of Nations until arriving in the evening, with the final awards ceremony and the announcement of the winner: Norway. The very one that will organize next year’s edition of the FIM Rally. In the middle, the talk The Real Women Challenge, with the presentation of the new trophy dedicated to the world of women’s motorcycling.

The Parade of Nations – In the morning the over 1000 participating motorcyclists, representing over 25 European nations and beyond, formed a caravan on their motorbikes which headed from Chianciano Terme, the venue of the event, towards Città della Pieve. And it is here that each nation always crossed the city center on motorbikes, parading under the now iconic FIM Rally arch. Coloring the splendid historic center of the Tuscan town and pouring enthusiasm into the streets. All this in front of a stage set up for institutional thanks and greetings.

The institutions – Many institutions were present, starting with the Mayor of Città della Pieve, Fausto Risini, who thanked Federmoto for choosing the place that was the birthplace of the famous painter Perugino (Pietro Vannucci) as part of the FIM Rally. Also present were Senators Erika Stefani, Elena Murelli, Stefano Corti and Emanuele Pellegrini. Who, after thanking them, recalled their commitments to support the motorcycling world, carried out through the Interparliamentary Group for Motorcycle Mobility and that for Historic Vehicles. In perfect harmony with the IMF. Also present on stage were the FIM Vice President and FMI President Giovanni Copioli, the Director of the FIM Tourist Commission Nuno Trêpa Leite and the FMI Vice President and Event Director, Rocco Lopardo. With Trêpa Leite thanking the IMF for the management and organization of the event and for the many institutional presences. Among the topics covered, there was no lack of sustainability, one of the aspects on which the FMI has focused most for the 2024 FIM Rally. The Coordinator of the FMI Environment and Off-Road Regulations Commission Giancarlo Strani and Giancarlo Strani spoke on stage to represent the topic. Il talk The Real Women Challenge – In the afternoon, Palazzo della Corgna in Città della Pieve hosted a talk dedicated to the world of women’s motorcycling, in which one of the novelties of this edition of the FIM Rally was revealed: The Real Women Challenge award, dedicated to female motorcyclists. The meeting was attended by Senator Stefani, Giovanni Copioli, Nuno Trêpa Leite, Rocco Lopardo, the Head of the FMI Women’s Commission and member of the International Women’s Commission Antonella Martometti and Dr. Alessia Di Francesco, motorcyclist and doctor registered in the list of federal doctors.

The final awards – In the evening the Palamontepaschi stage hosted the awards ceremony of the 77th FIM Rally, with Norway wins ahead of Sweden and Finland. In addition to their awards, all other recognitions were awarded (see list below).

Nuno Trêpa Leite, Director of the FIM Tourist Commission: “The FIM Rally in Italy was a great success thanks to the collaboration between the FIM and the FMI. Participants were able to visit wonderful places and appreciate the history and culture of Italy and Tuscany. The 77th edition of the event was memorable, now we’re already thinking about next year when we go to Norway.”

Giovanni Copioli, President of the IMF: “I am really excited and proud to have seen all this enthusiasm and participation for what was a very important event for Italy, so thanks to all the participants in the 77th FIM Rally and congratulations to Norway for the victory. We worked as best we could with the Municipalities and the various local entities, receiving maximum support, which allowed all motorcyclists to fully enjoy the beauty of the places involved. I would also like to thank all the institutions present today for their continuous support and all the staff who made this successful event possible.”

Rocco Lopardo, IMF Vice President and Event Director: “There is so much emotion now that the FIM Rally has come to an end. A great event, on which we worked with passion and commitment. We put our heart and soul into it and wanted to reciprocate the affection that we have received in all these years at the various FIM Rallies around Europe. Seeing so much participation, so much warmth, moved me. The applause received from the FIM Jury delegates made us proud.
