They will be the posters of the exhibition Giacomo Puccini Poster as a backdrop to the concert directed by Maestro Riccardo Muti in homage to Giacomo Puccini scheduled in Lucca this evening (June 28), and broadcast live on Rai3 worldwide starting at 9.20 pm. The posters are part of the loan granted by the Salce National Museum to the Municipality of Lucca, for the exhibition that links Puccini to the advertising poster in an unprecedented way and which will be inaugurated on November 29th in the premises of Former Horsewoman of Verdi square.
The images of the posters will be projected onto the background of the stage, set up in the stands Walls of Luccaon the occasion of the Lucca Summer Festival. Maestro Muti’s lineup will thus be accompanied by the programs of Giacomo Puccini’s works, from Manon Lescaut to Turandot, from Bohème to Madama Butterfly.
The exhibition Giacomo Puccini Posterorganized by the Municipality of Lucca and developed by Lucca Plus, is included in the official calendar of the National Committee for Puccini Celebrations and is also sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, National Salce Collection Museum, Giacomo Puccini Foundation, Puccini Museum, Teatro del Giglio, Association Lucchesi in the World.
