On Wednesday evening, June 26, the coalition met with the mayor to discuss the composition of the executive. Two other figures they will be drawn from my civic body and not necessarily from those elected to the council. During the meeting on Wednesday evening Balliana shared the profile of his council and in the next few days each member representing the lists will discuss it with their group to define everything and verify the conditions. «The council – highlights the mayor – will have to be shared and supported by the whole community coalition“. Presidency of the Council
As for the presidency of the council, among the names that are gaining most traction in these hours is that of Alessandro DeBastiani. «He is one of the possible candidates – confirms the mayor – but let’s remember that the president of the municipal council is chosen by the councilors. We as a majority will give an indication, but, as I reiterated at the meeting on Wednesday, the competence is of the council”. A council that will be officially convened in a few days and will be held in the second week of July.
The first meetings
In the meantime, Balliana has fully entered into her new role as mayor of Vittorio Veneto.
