The increase in petrol and diesel prices continues, with new increases recorded today too. According to the Staffetta Quotidiana survey, Q8 increased the price of petrol and diesel by 1 cent, while IP only increased the price of diesel.

Quotidiano Energia’s processing of data from the Mimit Price Observatory indicates that the average price of petrol in self-service mode is stable at 1.862 euros per litre. The various companies show prices ranging between 1,851 and 1,871 euros per litre, with the white pumps (no logo) at 1,850 euros per litre.

The average price of self-service diesel increased slightly to €1,742 per liter compared to €1,740 per liter previously, with brands ranging between €1,737 and €1,756 per liter and white pumps at €1,729 per litre.

The prices of LPG and methane for cars also show variations: LPG stands between 0.714 and 0.732 euros per litre (no logo at 0.699), while methane for cars varies from 1.312 to 1.390 euros per kg (no logo at 1.324).

The increase in fuel prices at the pump follows yesterday’s upward closing of the petroleum products market in the Mediterranean, contributing to a continuing upward trend that is weighing on consumers.
