Murder in Pescara: 17 year old stabbed to death

The autopsy on the body of Thomas, the 17-year-old boy killed in Pescara with 25 stab wounds by two peers, continued until the late evening of Wednesday 27 June. The examination revealed that the boy’s death was caused by injuries that affected both lungs, causing irreversible hemorrhagic shock. Today the last farewell.

It went on until late yesterday evening, Wednesday 27th June, theautopsy on Thomas’ bodythe 17 year old boy killed in Pescara, near the Baden Powell park, with 25 stab wounds from two peers. The examination revealed that the boy’s death was caused by the injuries which affected both lungscausing irreversible hemorrhagic shock. Thomas would be killed quickly.
The autopsy, performed by the coroner Cristian D’Ovidio, in the presence of his colleague Ildo Polidoro, an expert on behalf of the victim’s family, he confirmed the number of shots, 25, which emerged during the body inspection. The examination was long e complex for the need to identify the singles injuriesbut it allowed us to clearly reconstruct the dynamicsthe cause of death and what the lethal blows were.
The two 16-year-olds accused of the murder were arrested. The only real intent was “to cause suffering e death“, as we read in a passage of the provision with which the judge for the preliminary investigations of the Juvenile Court of L’Aquila validated the detention. The circumstantial framework, as the judge further writes, highlights “the determining cause of the action is the harmful impulse, that of provoke suffering and kill a human being”. A crime committed for ‘futile reasons‘, a circumstance which is contested against the two minors.

Today, Friday 28th June, there will be a final farewell to Thomas. The funeral will be celebrated at 5pm in the church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
The archbishop of the diocese of Pescara Penne, Monsignor, will officiate at the function Tommaso Valentinesand the parish priest Father Mario Spadaccini. For the day, the mayor, Simone Palaceproclaimed the mourning citizen. “For those who want to say a final farewell to my angel…”, wrote on social media, sharing the image of the obituary, the boy’s grandmother, who had taken care of him “like a mother” since he was three and a half years old.
In the funeral poster there is a photo of the 17-year-old, with his long hair on his forehead and his childish face. “We prepare with immense ache e deep emotion to give our last farewell to our little angel”, writes the mayor of Rosciano on social media.
