Samira is a young poet suffering from cancer and therefore hospitalized in a clinic in the suburbs. A nurse takes her (accompanied by her cat Frodo) and other patients on a trip to New York City aboard a bus to see a puppet show. However, Samira goes there above all with the idea of taking advantage of it to eat a good pizza. This innocent idea of her collides with the terrifying reality of a sudden alien invasion that turns everything upside down.

The first film in the series, as many who have seen it will remember, began when the situation for humanity was already very compromised and aliens without sight but with very fine hearing were raging. The second film continued in the same timeline following the desperate events of the family who were the protagonists of the first episode, always faced with the bloodthirsty aliens.

This third film, as often happens in successful series, goes back in time to tell us how it all began. It is therefore a prequel, but also, if we want, a spin-off because it tells the stories of characters different from those of the first two films, despite a situation that soon becomes similar.
