From a study by Gabetti a marked one emerges decrease in sales of properties in Bari in 2023, in 19.1% dropflanked by a increase in the cost of housing by 0.9%. The trend seems to continue in the current year too, given that in the first quarter of 2024 just 906 sales were recorded, corresponding to -8% compared to the first three months of the previous year.
Michele AmorusoRelationship Manager Puglia of the Gabetti Group, highlighted how the decline in sales is counterbalanced by a buzz of nascent activities in various areas of the city center and from urban regeneration interventions which aim to improve the connectivity of the territory. There is also an increase in demand for properties in the city center and along the coasts, particularly near the sea and green areas.
The properties located in prestigious neighborhoods such as Murat, Borgo Antico and Madonnella and the strictly central areas are among the 3000 and 5000 euros per square meterand then move on to a medium range for which they are used between 2000 and 3000 euros per square meter and conclude with the most peripheral and less requested areas, whose cost per square meter is 1200-2000 euros.
