More people could be charged in the death of Friends actor and star Matthew Perry, a law enforcement source close to the investigation into the Friends actor’s death has revealed, quoted exclusively by People. Investigations which should also be “close to a conclusion”. The U.S. Attorney’s office will then have to decide whether or not to file charges against these alleged individuals involved. The former Friends star was found lifeless on October 28 at the age of 54 in the hot tub of her home in Pacific Palisades, Los Angeles. Last month, it emerged that ketamine played a central role in the actor’s death. The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) then launched a joint investigation to try to identify who may have prescribed ketamine to Perry.
The interrogations
The actor had been using ketamine to deal with the depression and anxiety he had suffered from for years. However, following the autopsy, the medical examiner clarified that the dose that proved lethal was not the one prescribed by the medical treatment. Also contributing to Perry’s death, according to the medical examiner, were the effects of buprenorphine, an opioid painkiller, coronary heart disease and subsequent drowning in the tub. In recent weeks, Tmz It also reported that some key Hollywood figures were questioned because they had useful information that could lead to the supplier of the substance. These are people known to have had “a history of drug use or abuse.” It is not excluded, therefore, that the names of the suspects who supplied the substance to the actor, leading to his death, may have emerged from the interrogations. But the suspicion is that Perry’s actor friends may have told him who to contact, thus ending up in the crosshairs of the investigators.
