Scientific police and healthcare personnel at work in the Bari hospital, to reconstruct the dynamics of the incident and provide assistance: two men, members of the ‘gang’ that attempted to attack an ATM in Bitonto during the night at around 3am, remained injured in the explosion.
The two would have been transported by their accomplices to the Bari Polyclinic and ‘unloaded’ at the entrance to Viale Ennio. They are now in intensive care and in the operating room. Just a few days ago, numerous raids against ATMs in Bari, Ruvo and Bitonto had terrified residents. The police are investigating to reconstruct the dynamics of the incident. We are looking for all the elements useful to trace the others responsible for the attack.

The explosion occurred around 3 am, damaging the Deutsche Bank in Corso Vittorio Emanuele: the Bitonto police station and the flying squad are investigating.
