Brush fire in a green area between Viale della Sorbona, Via Columbia and Via Cambridge, in the Tor Vergata area of Rome. Firefighters and local police from the VI Torri Group were on site. The officers secured the area and evacuated, together with the firefighters, the Faculty of Letters and Philosophy of the University of Tor Vergata and its parking lot. At the moment there are no injuries. Via Columbia is closed to traffic, in the section between Via Cambridge and Viale della Sorbona, in both directions. Civil Protection personnel from Rome are also on site.
