Adiconsum Calabria, consumer rights at the center of the meeting with the children hosted by the Città Solidale foundation of Squillace

A meeting was held yesterday in Squillace (CZ) between the managers of ADICONSUM Calabria led by President Michele Gigliotti and the representatives of the Solidarity City Foundation which in Squillace hosts around twenty young people (unaccompanied foreign unaccompanied minors UASC) from different areas of the continent African who has started an integration process also involving the consumer association Adiconsum Calabria to discuss consumer protection and more generally the needs and rights of citizens.

In addition to the Foundation, chaired by Father Piero Puglisi, the Catanzaro Minori di Squillace Manager Maurizio Chiaravallotti, Francesco Lamanna, integration operator, Maria Alessia Pessolano, social worker and Lafnine Rachid, intercultural mediator, participated in the initiative.

“Adiconsum aims for integration, comments Michele Gigliotti, and it is precisely these initiatives and moments of discussion that constitute the real challenge for the future.

Our task is to work hard so that the inefficiencies and uncomfortable situations that affect consumers can be resolved in a timely manner to remedy the damage suffered.”

At the end of the event Michele Gigliotti, president of ADICONSUM Calabria, together with the Adiconsum representative (complaints and telecommunications) Antonio Scolaro, answered the questions of the guests of the Squillace facility.
