Shifty Shellshock, the lead singer of Crazy Town, has died

Mystery and tears in the world of music for sudden death of Shifty Shellshock, former Crazy Town singer. The band became famous worldwide in 1999 with the song ‘Butterfly’, whose official video has exceeded 237 million views. The video for ‘Butterfly’ had become one of the flagship videos of the MTV channel in those years.

A meteor, given that the real success for the band only came with that song. Then Crazy Town released a second album in 2002 and split a few years later. There reunion it only arrived in 2015, the year in which the band’s third album was released. Even in this case, however, expectations were disappointed as it did not achieve great success with the public.

The body of Shifty Shellshock, at birth Seth Binzer, was found lifeless in the singer’s home in Los Angeles. The causes of his death are not yet known, the police are investigating the case. Seth Binzer had 49 years old and several times over the last few years he had also spoken publicly, taking part in various American television shows, about the addictions with which he had often had to deal.

One of the last posts by Seth Binzer on Instagram read “To those who remain even when I do my best to encourage them to escape” accompanying a photo with the writing “What is real is rare, the fake is found everywhere”.

What could have happened to him? It’s still not clear, many immediately published comments on the singer’s Instagram page: “I was really hoping sobriety would change things for you,” “This absolutely broke my heart. Seth why? You have been in my life since we were kids… you just broke a lot of hearts… Rest in peace old friend, I love you.”
