Formally, 1300 points are missing but in fact Jannik Sinner is already qualified for the ATP Finals in Turin, one of the most anticipated events and which sees him as a great favorite for the final victory. Now head to Wimbledon where Jannik could even already earn mathematical qualification for the tournament and the blue has earned another 500 points.
Behind OK Alexander Zverev who gains 200 points and increases his lead over his main pursuers. Third Alcaraz stable at 3950 points and both he and Sinner only need to arrive in the top 20 to be certain of the Finals (both have won Slams).
With the final in Halle Hurkacz enters the Top 10 in constant growth and can enter the Finals zone at Wimbledon. Few changes in the Top Ten, just the overtaking of Tsitsipas against Alex De Minaur as number 6 in the Race.
Immediately outside the Top 10 was Tommy Paul, who gained two positions and also moved closer to the Finals zone. Novak Djokovic deserves a separate chapter and is currently in thirteenth place in the Race. Djokovic has 1860 points and is only about 400 points away from Andrey Rublev, currently in eighth place.
Much will also depend on Wimbledon where the Serbian champion’s presence is in strong doubt and where there is curiosity to evaluate his physical condition. A possible forfeit at Wimbledon would significantly complicate Djokovic’s ATP Finals, whose presence would be at great risk.
Holger Rune also loses ground in sixteenth place while with the final at Queen’s Musetti is twenty-second in the standings in the Race and who knows if he might see a sensational exploit at the end of the season.
Difficult but not impossible for the talent of Massa Carrara who has overtaken Lehecka and Ben Shelton in the rankings. Jack Draper also ok while Luciano Darderi loses ground. Matteo Arnaldi, on the other hand, is stable, now fixed in 37th position.
