Don Gherardo Gambelli underlines this in the speech given during the greetings to the authorities before the mass and his ordination as bishop. “As far as I’m concerned, I express here my firm desire to collaborate with all people of good will in the commitment to building an increasingly just and fraternal society”, he underlines. “The artistic works of our city, such as the Rustici Code, remind us that only what has been done with joy with respect and attention to the poor, the marginalized and the excluded remains and is worthy of being remembered.
