It will be held this morning the first of three meetings between Giovanni Toti and the political exponents neighbors authorized by the investigating judge Paola Faggioni at the request of the lawyer Stephen Savi. The first to speak to the president – suspended from office since May 7, when he was taken under house arrest – will be the president ad interim Alessandro Piana and the most trusted councilors of the junta, as well as members of its political movement: Giacomo Giampedrone And Marco Scajola.
The meeting will take place late in the morning, in the presence of the lawyer Savi, in Toti’s home Ameglia, as ordered by the judge. In fact, outside there will be the financial police who will have to control who will actually take part in the interviews and for this reason authorization to carry them out in person was denied. At the end a meeting was organised press point in Luni with Piana and the councillors.
In the next few days it will be the turn of the regional coordinators of the coalition parties: from Edoardo Rixi of the League a Matteo Rosso of Brothers of Italy, up Carlo Bagnasco of Forza Italia. A separate appointment will concern the exponents of Noi Moderati, a movement which Toti had joined with his Italia al Centro formation: the national leader Maurizio Lupi and the deputy Pino Bicchielli. As mentioned, any meeting can last a maximum of three hours.
