NAPLES. Sun, heat but a lot of desire for Geolier. The Neapolitan rapper’s second concert at the Maradona stadium is sold out. The first of the 3 sold out dates of Geolier took place last night, with a total attendance of 145,000 spectators. It will be repeated this evening and tomorrow with the other two lives at Maradona. Over two and a half hours of music, with a lighting system with attention to the smallest details including special effects, fireworks and flames and with the artist entering the stage from above. During the song “Dio lo sa”, Geolier sang at 9 and a half meters in the air, surrounded by visuals showing a retelling of the Last Judgment.
Accompanying him for the first of the 3 live shows (as will always happen with new names during the other 2 evenings too) were exceptional friends and colleagues: at his side the inevitable Luchè, with whom he duetted on the notes of “Già lo sai”, Gigi D’Alessio, with whom he sang “Senza tuccà”, Mv killa in “Amo Ma Chi T Sap” and in “Cadillac”, where surprisingly he was also joined by Tony Effe and Mavi in “Emirates”.
Only for the special party in Naples, also, to the members of the band – Guido Della Gatta on guitars, Carmine Landolfi B Dog on drums, Francesco Checcho D’Alessio and Max D’Ambra on keyboards, Cristian Capasso on bass and Dat Boi Dee and Poison Beatz on the two consoles – a 16-piece string orchestra was added, which made everything more magical.
