They argued for a long time, reaching the point of insulting each other heavily around 10.30pm. Then it all seemed over: one took off on his bike, the other jumped into his Volkswagen Golf and hit him at full speed.
The argument that occurred on the evening of June 17th in Via Torino in Ivrea could have ended in tragedy. Luckily the victim got away and her attacker ended up in prison on charges of aggravated bodily harm.
According to what was reconstructed by the Carabinieri of the Radiomobile Section of Ivrea, the 24-year-old driving the car ran away without stopping to help the other boy, who was a year older and lived nearby (both protagonists of the dispute live in Viale Papa Giovanni XXIII ). Who, following the terrifying impact, was injured on the ground next to the bike, which was practically broken in half. The 25-year-old, serious but not life-threatening, was immediately transported by ambulance to Ivrea hospital: for him the doctors have established a prognosis of 40 days for the injuries suffered (he suffered fractures to both legs). Meanwhile, the military, thanks to the statements of the witnesses and the victim, identified the person responsible and arrested him. Now he is in prison in Ivrea while his car and bicycle have been seized.
