It will be a sports festival that will conclude the 170th edition of the Soliera Fair on Monday 24 June. It will be a day of celebration for the people of Soliere, especially because the patron saint, San Giovanni Battista, is celebrated. It starts at 9.30 in the morning in Piazza Lusvardi with the walk on the pedestrian urban subway track, organized by the MuoviSoliera and Trenino dei colori groups, and ends at 9pm again in the square with the projection of the decisive Italy-Croatia match on the big screen for the purposes of progressing to the round of 16.
Further events are represented from 6pm onwards by the Pilates lesson in Piazzetta Don Ugo Sitti, by the fencing, judo and basketball demonstrations in Via Marconi, by the mountain bike obstacle course along the castle moat. And football, rugby, lawn volleyball, karate, tai chi, qi gong and rhythmic gymnastics. At 8pm in via Garibaldi, at the stand of the Blue Cross of Soliera, a new ambulance will be inaugurated, donated by the Luciana Baraldi and Luciano Lugli association, while the refreshment point in the square will be provided by Solierese Calcio. And for the whole day of June 24th the balsamic tortellone inn will be active, as will the exhibitions of vintage cars and motorbikes.
