He stole a gold chain from the neck of a 19-year-old who was waiting for the bus at the Latina station.
The next day the young man, a 22-year-old foreigner, sent the boy WhatsApp messages asking him for money, 200 euros, in exchange for his necklace.
After negotiations, the victim agreed with the 22-year-old on the delivery of the sum of 150 euros, making an appointment on 21 June at 5pm in Piazza Santa Maria Goretti, where the exchange should have taken place.
But the agents of the Flying Squad and the Flying Squad showed up at the meeting and arrested the non-EU citizen. Immediately after delivery of the chain and receipt of the requested sum.
