The Lignano campsite wins the kindness award

The prize at Camping Azzurro 2000 in Lignano.

The “Let’s Build Kindness in Sport” award, which enhances Kindness through sport, athletes and sporting realities, was awarded To Azzurro 2000 and its Director Tiziana Candoni for its commitment to promoting sport for all by offering educational and social support, since 2000.

The Award, represented by the Costruiamo Gentilezza T-shirt, is a symbol that aims to make Kindness a widespread behavior among young people, who they will be kind people, men and women of tomorrow. Professor Tiziana Candoni was given the recognition for 33 years of camp for children and teenagers aged 6 to 17 deploying consistency, professionalism and passion for young people and sport.

The Azzurro 2000 summer camp which takes place in Lignano at the Italia Bella Village is the first summer camp in Italy to receive national recognition. Sport as a teacher of life is a way to educate and communicate with young people who need guides.

In the Azzurro 2000 Camps the children are followed day and night (with night supervision) by qualified instructors and teachers, who follow the boys step by step in their activities. Sport teaches cooperation, teaches us to adapt and respect others.

The Let’s Build Kindness in Sport Award is a symbol of high social value, recognized for merit, to those who have built significant kindness practices for the common good, putting children at the centre, becoming an example of a “Kindness builder”. The delivery last evening in Lignano, at Camp Azzurro 2000 in the presence of the children participating in the camp and in front of some parents.
