The meeting between Inter, Milan and the mayor of Milan Beppe Sala took place yesterday, what seemed to be yet another meeting among others could have, on the contrary, marked the turning point on the future of the Meazza stadium.
Repubblica speaks of a meeting that lasted about an hour which “could therefore have really reopened the game on the redevelopment of the Meazza, even if both teams continue to move forward with their individual projects: Milan in San Donato and Inter in Rozzano”. As stated by Sala himself, the two teams will meet WeBuild to delve deeper into the project and have an estimate of the investment which was initially around 400 million, then they will take the time to study the feasibility plan “and decide whether or not to follow this path “. At the moment neither of the two intends to abandon their respective alternative projects at San Siro.
