The first names directly from the Premier League are starting to circulate in Lazio and some of the most important British tabloids are reporting them. If yesterday the Daily Mail had launched Lazio’s indiscretion on Greenwood, news which then found wide acceptance in Italy too; today The Sun reported on the interest from Lazio For Giovani Lo Celso.
Lazio and the offer to Tottenham for Lo Celso
As reported by The Sun, one of the best-selling English tabloids in the world, the Lazio would have made an initial offer to Tottenham for the Argentine midfielder Giovani Lo Celso. The English newspaper did not clarify the figure of the Biancoceleste’s offer, but explained that at least an offer of 10 million euros will be needed to get to the negotiating table.
Lo Celso’s season at Tottenham
Giovani Lo Celso, a midfielder/attacker born in 1996 for Tottenham, this season he has made 24 appearances in all competitions, accumulating, however, only 597 minutes, topped off with 2 goals and 2 assists. For him a not exactly lucky season with a few too many injuries, but his name is at least on paper at a higher level than the names previously circulated and Rome could be the right place for him. This season, Lo Celso has played both as a central midfielder and, with a more offensive vocation, in the attacking midfield. AND he has been part of the Argentina national team for a long time and is currently playing in the Copa America; he had to miss the 2022 World Cup in Qatar due to a serious muscle injury.
