MARINA DI GROSSETO – In the bathing establishments of Grosseto, a team of specialists explains life-saving maneuvers to bathers and the staff of tourist facilities. The courses, including a theoretical part and practical demonstrations on a mannequin, are held voluntarily by medical and nursing staff from the Grosseto Pediatrics department. The initiative is by the Tuscany South East Local Health Authority with the collaboration of the Proloco of Marina di Grosseto and Principina Mare and Amietip.

Many people at the first appointment which was held on Wednesday 19 June at Bagno La Rotonda in Marina di Grosseto: they were present Susanna Falornidirector of the Paediatrics and Neonatology unit of the Grosseto hospital, Luca Bertaccahead of the pediatric emergency room at Misericordia e Sonia Perinursing manager of the pediatric emergency room in Grosseto, as well as Giuseppe Romiticommander of the Grosseto Coast Guard e Maurizio Biancotti vice president of the Proloco of Marina di Grosseto and Principina Mare. The calendar includes further opportunities on the following days:

– 4 September Bagno Il Faro.

All meetings take place from 5pm to 7pm. Registration takes place at the reception of each establishment involved. For information you can contact the Proloco of Marina di Grosseto and Principina Mare, citizens are invited to participate.
