TERNI – The Terni State Police have arrested two very young people, a 21-year-old and a 20-year-old, both born in Rome, identified as the alleged perpetrators of two home burglaries committed in Terni on 8 December 2023 and on 15 March. The two subjects, burdened by precedents for crimes against property, were tracked down in Tivoli.
The first theft, in chronological order, regarding the one that occurred in the Polymer area, on 8 December 2023. The two arrested, in collaboration with a 17-year-old, who was reported in a state of freedom to the Public Prosecutor’s Office at the Juvenile Court of Perugia, after having entered the house, forcing the living room window, they had taken possession of several gold jewels and then fled in a Lancia Y car, immortalized by some private cameras present in the area , rented by the 20-year-old arrested from a car rental company based in Rome.
Even on the occasion of the second theft, committed in a house in the Campomicciolo area, the three subjects had removed several gold jewels and used a rental car, this time also immortalized by cameras from the Municipality of Terni.
The subsequent analysis of telephone records and the execution of a search decree, issued by the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Terni and the Prosecutor’s Office for Minors of Perugia towards the suspects, during which some of the items of clothing were seized worn by the suspects and captured by video surveillance images, therefore made it possible to acquire further elements against them.
