The Assembly began by highlighting the membership of 7 new associated companies

The membership of these additional members was welcomed with great enthusiasm by the entire Assembly.
The structure and President Becce were acknowledged for the excellent work carried out which today leads Assiterminal to represent 88 companies including Terminal Operators, Port Companies and Passenger Terminals.
This result clearly confirms Assiterminal as the main trade association in the field of port logistics, capable of representing port companies of all sizes, of any shareholding, of all product sectors of the port sector (containers, cruises, ferries, automotive, break bulk, vegetable liquid bulk, petroleum products, grains, various goods generally understood …)
This result confirms Assiterminal’s ability to dialogue with everyone, to represent companies in a composite and inclusive way even in normal competition with each other but which make the associative instrument a place of synthesis and proposals of general interest for the entire category of logistics operators and of the mobility of people in ports.
The Assembly also approved changes to the Statute aimed at further emphasizing internal participation and strengthening and broadening the capacity for discussion and decision-making of the internal bodies.
Updates have obviously been provided regarding the progress of the negotiation of the renewal of the CCNL for port workers.
Finally, the designation commission shared with the Assembly the indications received from the members useful for the renewal of the Presidency and the Presidential Council which will take place during the private Assembly of next 16 July, which will be followed by the networking cocktail that same evening and ‘Public meeting the following day, again in Rome, 17 July.
