The June 21, 2024, on the longest day of the year, SolarPower Europe celebrates the importance of the sun as a source of clean energy, with the initiative #EuropeanSolarDay, time to stimulate collective actions that can lead to a green and sustainable future.
This year’s campaign has the theme “Solar School: Powering your future“, which aims to raise awareness of the importance of training to guarantee:
- free access to the resources needed to understand and use solar energy;
- community participation in the energy transition;
- reducing the knowledge gap;
- educational resources and tools to actively participate in the energy transition process;
- job opportunities in solar, a sector capable of fueling economic growth.
On the occasion of theEuropean Solar Daythe campaign website will act as hub for all supporters, who will also be able to take part in an interactive quiz to test their knowledge on the solar source and further discover its benefits. The test results can then be shared on your social channels, accompanied by the official hashtags of the campaign #EuropeanSolarDay And #SolarSchool.
