“IN THE BLUE SUMMER FESTIVAL”
The new musical festival produced by FPM kicks off on Friday 21 June at the Amphitheater of Peace (Bari) – Pugliesi Foundation for Music
On stage ROSALIA DE SOUZA QUINTET in “Nothing will be as before”.
On Friday 21 June at 9.00 pm at the Amphitheater of Peace (c/o Centro Commerciale Mongolfiera Japigia – Via Natale Loiacono, 20 – Bari) the new FPM – Fondazione Pugliesi per la Musica exhibition entitled “In the Blue Summer Festival” begins . The festival will be inaugurated by Rosalia de Souza Quintet with the project “Nada serà como antes”.
“After the success of the “Women in Jazz” event – explains the president of the Foundation, Costantino Mastrorilli – we wanted to give continuity to our artistic offer, this time thinking not only of the many jazz enthusiasts who already follow us, but also of the many tourists who now populate our region in the summer season, to whom we can offer an evening of very high quality music in location suggestive.”
“In the Blue Summer” is produced and promoted by FPM – Fondazione Pugliesi per la Musica, with the artistic direction of Antonio Pisanie in partnership with AlsoCinema And Riva del Sole Hotel. The event will be divided into five dates, hosting some of the most interesting national and international artists of the moment, in various suggestive locations in the province of Bari.
The first date of June 21st is in collaboration with Also Cinema Of Andrew Constantine.

Rosalia de Souza, famous Brazilian singer loved by the jazz public since the days of Quintet X, will present “Nada será como antes”, her new live project, on stage. Always committed to researching little-known songs and authors, Rosalia combines tradition and modernity with personal interpretations that enchant the public. She will be accompanied by a group of musicians of the highest level, with whom she has collaborated for years on stages all over the world: Giorgio Vendola from Puglia on double bass, Roberto “Red” Rossi on drums, Antonio De Luise on piano, and Sandro Deidda on wind instruments .
