Marco Barons he is the new coach of Lazio. The coach, born in Florence on 11 September 1963, is preparing to experience his first season in the Biancoceleste. As reported by official club channels.
Baroni, who began coaching in the summer of 2000, led Siena, Benevento, Frosinone, Lecce and Hellas Verona in the top flight (the last two for an entire championship). On the bench he won the Serie B championship in 2022 with the Salento team and, at youth level, a Viareggio Tournament and a Primavera Italian Cup with Juventus.
As a former defender, however, he played in Serie A with many teams, especially in Naples, where he won a Scudetto and an Italian Super Cup in 1990.
