The deadly impact occurred under the dismayed gaze of numerous witnesses. The girl worked in a tobacconist.

At that time, around 7.30 pm yesterday, on the main road in front of the parish church and the Sant’Antonio pharmacy, it was full of people. Numerous cars waiting for the green light at the traffic lights. But the car, the Opel Astra, apparently was in a hurry to pass or did not notice the red light, overwhelming the 24-year-old while overtaking.

The driver, who stopped after the accident, reported to the police as soon as the incident occurred that he had regularly passed the green light and suddenly found himself in front of the young woman.
