Accident at work along the Agrigento-Palermo railway line. A man was injured following the overturning of the mini excavator he was maneuvering along the railway track where maintenance work is underway. It happened in the Minaga district, before arriving in the San Michele district and the Consolida district, near a well-known supermarket. The Carabinieri have been at work for some time now, reconstructing the dynamics of the accident at work.
The injured person – according to what AgrigentoNotizie has learned should not be in danger of life – has already been transferred to the emergency room of the nearby San Giovanni di Dio hospital.

When the mini excavator overturned, the worker (whose age is currently unknown) was stuck in the excavator’s cage. The 118 rescuers managed to get him out and in record time he was transferred to the emergency room where the doctors are subjecting him to all the health checks deemed necessary. The worker, although seriously injured, should not be in danger of his life.
Traffic delays, at least until the injured man was transferred to hospital, were recorded along provincial road 15C. The police have always taken care of regulating the traffic.
