Accident in Valnerina, 67-year-old scooter rider dies

Fatal accident late on Monday morning along the Valnerina state road 209 near the Pentima university center in Terni. The driver of a scooter, a 67-year-old man, who was proceeding along the road towards Arrone, lost his life. A lorry traveling along the state road towards Terni was also involved in the accident. The police and healthcare personnel were on site. The dynamics of the accident are being examined by investigators. The impact between the two vehicles, according to initial findings, would have been modest. The man’s body is available to the Terni prosecutor’s office, the prosecutor on duty is Giorgio Panucci.
