They are back again this year “Sea Trains” of the weekend that connect Lombardy to Liguria.
Every Saturday and holidays, the sea trains are added to those normally in service between Lombardy and the Ligurian coasts to meet the needs of travelers who want to go to Liguria for the weekends in the spring and summer months.
The service will be active until September 29, 2024 and every weekend will guarantee 6 links plus with the Eastern and Western Ligurian Riviera.
The offer is the result of collaboration between Trenitalia, Trenorth, Liguria region And Lombardy region.
Definitely an additional opportunity for those who choose the train for travel, thus avoiding the annoying queues on the motorway and also promoting the philosophy of sustainable travel.
