PERUGIA – Avanti Tutta, we could say, is also this twelfth edition of the event which animated the green route of Perugia, from 14 to 16 June, and which hosted almost fifty operators and associations. In the three days also the 3×3 regional basketball final, the performance of Andrea Calzoni, fresh European Fighting Systen champion, that of Roberto Carlotti (boxing and kickboxing) and the Ponte San Giovanni skating club. Federico Rotoni, MMA athlete, also made his presence known at Pian di Massiano on Sunday.
“It is a pleasure to be here – declared Rotoni himself – and to share this wonderful experience. Leonardo Cenci was an example for many of us young people. When I started seven years ago I took it as a reference. I was a shy boy, who was looking for redemption and his own dimension in sport.”
Also on Sunday there was also space for artistic gymnastics with the Fortebraccio gym and for the activities offered by Pompieropoli.
VESPA CLUB PERUGIA
This morning, Sunday 16 May, some members of the Perugia association met at the green route to pay homage to the event and remember Leonardo Cenci, who in his youth had driven a Vespa, now jealously guarded by his father Sergio. The Vespa enthusiasts embarked on a sightseeing tour through the streets of the centre, before returning to Pian di Massiano and taking advantage of the culinary offer of the Mantignana association in September.
HEALTH AND SOLIDARITY
In the meeting area, debates and discussions related to the topics of prevention and healthy lifestyles continued. The solidarity associations continued to bring their precious contribution to the numerous stands present at the event.
MUSIC AND ENTERTAINMENT
Success for the performance on the evening of Friday 14 June for “Rocknight”, a show organized by the “Piano Solo” music school in which several pop/rock bands took turns on stage, presenting a repertoire that celebrates the history of rock. On Saturday 15th, however, there was space for Fandango – Ligabue Tribute Band, which retraced all the greatest successes of the singer-songwriter from Correggio.
