The final of the Maurice Revello 2024 Tournament officially ended a few minutes ago. This is how things went in the spectacular duel between Ukraine and Ivory Coast: a match full of goals and twists.
THE NEWS
In Toulon the match between the European and African teams is played at a very high pace and with many opportunities. After seven minutes, Ukraine goes through: Shostak’s goal for the momentary 1-0. The Ivorians are feeling the pinch. In fact, in the 31st minute it was 2-0: this time it was Khlan to score the goal which is worth the double of the yellow and blue national team.
We move towards the end of the first half, but before the referee sends the teams to rest, Ivory Coast reopens the contest thanks to the goal of Ouotro scores the point to make it 2-1, with which the “Elephants” come back to life.
The second half starts again, the pace remains intense. Ouotro goes wild: him again, another strike and a new goal that makes it 2-2 in the 59th minute. The two teams thus enter the last half hour: neither manages to prevail over the other.
The 90th minute arrives: despite a robust recovery, no goal. We go, as per the rules, directly to penalties. And it was Ukraine who prevailed, with an overall result of 5-4, who ultimately won the 2024 Maurice Revello Tournament with a decisive penalty from Batagov.
