There remains an aura of mystery about the dynamics of the woman’s killing
Mauled by an alligator, after eight months the authorities show the macabre footage of his death. He provoked pain and horror, but also quite a bit of controversy, the viewing of the video from the bodycam of the Clerawater police in Florida, where the moments in which the enormous reptile is still devouring its victim are portrayed. The 41 year old Sabrina Peckham she was dragged and killed by an alligator last September in a canal along a residential street in Largo, a small community four miles south of Clearwater.
After a passerby spotted Peckham’s mangled body in the alligator’s jaws, Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission officials pulled the carnivorous animal from the water using ropes and chains. In the video, authorities can be seen laying the beast on the pavement – where they measured it to be more than 4 meters long – before using a rifle to fatally shoot the animal. The alligator was eventually quartered so FWC officials could remove some of Peckham’s remains. There remains an aura of mystery regarding the dynamics of the woman’s killingor. All that is known is that Peckham lived in destitute conditions in a makeshift campsite just 10 meters from the canal. Area of water known as McKay Creek, commonly used by alligators to travel between Ridgecrest Lake and Taylor Lake.
