History

Broja was born in England from Albanian parents and for this reason he holds dual citizenship, English and Albanian to be precise. In 2019 he chose to play for the Albanian national team.

On a football level he grew up in youth sectors of Tottenham and Chelsea It is in the 2020 he signed his first professional contract with the Blues, aged 19. The following 8 March he made his first team debut in the 4-0 Premier League win against Everton. On August 21 of the same year it passed into loan to Vitesse in the Eredivisie. He then made his league debut against RKC Waalwijk on 13 September, playing only the last five minutes of the match.

August 10, 2021 is coming loaned to Southampton and on 16 October he scored his first goal in the Premier League, deciding the match against Leeds Utd 1-0. The problems, however, for the Albanian striker arrive in 2022when on 11 December, during a Chelsea-Aston Villa friendly match, he suffered the rupture of the cruciate of the right knee resulting surgery. On 23 September 2023 he returns to play, even if he finds very little space in the first part of the season. on 1 February he was sent on loan to Fulham until the end of the season where, however, he only made 8 appearances before returning to Chelsea.

In national debuts on September 7, 2020 and on 5 September of the following year he scored his first goal, sealing the victory against Hungary, valid for the 2022 World Cup qualifiers.

Technical features

Armando Broja is a center forward with good physical strength and speedwell done attack depth. In some ways can remember Jovic for his ability to exploit the spaces that another attacker can create for him.

On a physical level he is certainly a capable footballer, 1.91 cm tall, even if his medical records show that in the last few seasons he has not been an intact footballer at all. Broja could still be a right profile to complete the department Milan’s offensive, still a work in progress, given the value of the price tag of 22 million euros (according to Transfermarkt) which could certainly be lowered, and the player’s ambitions to try to relaunch himself, a bit like Jovic himself in the Rossoneri.

Definitely his often precarious physical conditions they make many turn up their noses, but the various Loftus-Cheek and Pulisic teach how Milan often goes looking for players to re-evaluate and who, perhaps due to physical problems they have had in the past, have not managed to perform adequately in their respective club. At the moment his contract expires in 2028, but with an adequate agreement between the parties and the will of the player it could be a negotiation that suits the Rossoneri.
