In the last episode of Mosquito, Giuseppe Cruciani thus commented on the demonstration announced by the left and the liberation of Ilaria Salis.
“The left goes to the streets because there is a climate of violence” began Cruciani. “There is a climate of violence in Parliament, in the country. The new fascism is coming. There is a deputy who they have practically made into a kind of Matteotti, Matteotti again. Hit by who knows who, probably by a member of the majority. So in the streets, in the streets against the fascists who don’t talk, against the squadristi, against the attackers. Then it turns out that in the history of the Italian Parliament these fights have happened several times, people have been hit several times. Right and left are equivalent from this point of view. Therefore there is no squadrismo, there is no fascism, there is no danger of a beloved. This is the fundamental point. There is no danger. Only you have to make a fuss. Legitimate bullshit, but bullshit nonetheless.”
The Radio24 host then continued talking about the case of Ilaria Salis, recently released: “Mrs. Ilaria Salis is free, she is also free to return to Italy. In Italy she even had her electronic bracelet taken away. And I say hurray, and I don’t say that hypocritically. I say hurray, hurray, hurray. Now, however, similar treatment and similar attention are given to the Italian left in particular the Bonelli-Fratoianni duo, they should reserve it for the many people who are in prison awaiting trial. They must not stop at Mrs. Salis with whom they won 7%. And the same goes for Salis’ father. My friends, let’s remember what he said just a few years ago: «rather than vote for Di Maio, Speranza, Cirinnà and Fratoianni I emigrate». It was September 18, 2022, on the eve of the political elections. Then for goodness’ sake, anything is possible. Everything can be done, everything can be claimed and a daughter is always a daughter. But this sentence was written in black and white. At a certain point Fratoianni became his daughter’s savior and therefore Fratoianni is no longer a reason to emigrate. With Fratoianni we no longer emigrate.”
