The final series of the West playoffs in the Regional Division 2 championship began with an unusual draw. The protagonist on the field was the only surviving Como team, Kaire Sport Lurate Caccivio, who finished tied 70-70 in Tradate after having been ahead for a long time and thus postponing the verdict to the return match scheduled for Friday 21 June within friendly walls.
Last night the Como team directed by coach Davide Corti after a difficult start she took control of the race even reaching a ten point lead but then, also thanks to foul problems, she was recovered by the locals who managed to equalize with a triple a few seconds from the end. The final verdict that will award promotion to DR1 as mentioned is postponed to the return match (Friday 21/6 at 9.30pm) which therefore becomes a real dry final without calculations and without tomorrow. But that Kaire will be able to play in her home.
