A double escape from the Beccaria juvenile prison. Yesterday, shortly after 4.30pm, two sixteen-year-olds managed to climb over the courtyard wall and then climbed another one to reach the offices of the Juvenile Justice Centre, which according to what was reported to Il Giorno are not monitored, and from there to escape into the street after use a pole as a support and then climb onto a driveway gate. They would have been spotted at the Bisceglie metro stop, red line, which is located a few hundred meters from the prison in via Calchi Taeggi, and then disappeared. Searches were carried out immediately by the penitentiary police with the support of all the alerted law enforcement agencies. How was this possible? The two apparently took advantage of the “poor surveillance”, highlight the prison unions, managing to climb over a couple of fences in the courtyard dedicated to “walks” and from there reach the wing of the Juvenile Justice Centre. “We need a prison decree immediately

The two escaped boys were at the Beccaria for the crimes of robbery. FA, born in the province of Como, entered the juvenile institution last 11 June (three days before the escape) to serve a final sentence of one year and 5 months for robbery and at the same time for a precautionary custody order in prison for the same crime. He was tracked down by officers in Desenzano del Garda and is accused of having committed, together with four other young accomplices, the robbery of the Goldbet slot machine room in Mozzate, in the province of Como, with illegal possession of weapons on 19 December. Loot: 4 thousand euros.
Also for robbery, on 14 May, on the orders of the investigating judge of the Juvenile Court of Milan, the other fugitive, ZH, also sixteen years old, born in Morocco and residing with his parents in the province of Como, who must turn 17, was arrested. years in October. There is no peace for Beccaria: in the previous days, doses of drugs and a cell phone with charger had been found and seized, turning the spotlight back on the powder-keg institute, the scene of a revolt last May 29th and before that on the 6th.
And escapes are not a rarity either.
