MANTOVA Yesterday evening the Flying Squad arrested two nineteen-year-old Italian citizens for having robbed a boy while he was walking with friends in Corso Pradella.
In particular, during a check at the Nuvolari gardens the police car received a request for help from a concerned citizen who said that his son had been robbed of a yellow gold chain shortly before.
After requesting a detailed description, the officers immediately proceeded with a careful and rapid search, following which the two subjects were traced in Corso Vittorio Emanuele.
After recognizing them, the victim said that while he was walking with friends, he realized he was being followed by a couple of young people. Suddenly the two separated, and while one remained stationary at the beginning of the road, probably so that he could act as a pole, the other approached, first to ask to make a call with his cell phone, and then to assume a aggressive attitude, threatening to stab him if he did not hand over the gold chain around his neck.
The criminals were then taken to the police station where, following a dialogue with the police officers, they spontaneously handed over the gold necklace hidden inside a hole in the trousers specially designed to hide small valuables from the proceeds of crime.
The two young people were then arrested and placed under house arrest pending the immediate hearing which will be held this morning.
