PISTOIA – Little by little, all the pieces regarding the staff who will support Mr. Giacomarro are also falling into place. The Sicilian coach will be supported, as previously written, by his second Happy Ragone.
As regards the athletic trainer, the role will be filled by Daniele Sorbellowhile that of goalkeeper coach from Raffaele Ferioli.
Daniele Sorbello, who turned fifty-six in May, was at Lecco last season and before that at Brescia, but he crossed paths with Massimo Taibi when he was at Reggina in the staff of Alfredo Aglietti, another former orange. Originally from Monsummano Terme, he also worked for Chievo, Ascoli and Verona. Also Tuscan, from Grosseto, is the forty-eight-year-old goalkeeping coach Raffaele Ferioli. Last season he worked with United Riccione, together with Giancarlo Riolfo, but previously at Gelbison, Città S.Agata and Grosseto.
In short, the Orange technical working group for next season is already ready.
Regarding player confirmations, it should be noted that Iuri Gambassi, born in 2006, will be in the first team squad for the next championship too. Gambassi was part of the orange junior team but trained and worked with the older ones, having shown excellent skills for a young man of his age. Qualities that earned him confirmation, thus completing the trio that Taibi had spoken about in the press conference, together with Valentini and Grilli.
