Maria Capua Vetere prison against an Assistant Chief of Penitentiary Police who was given a violent punch to the chest by an inmate in the Danube Department. It’s time for zero tolerance. The Department of Penitentiary Administration and the competent institutional bodies must assume responsibilities and implement, each for the part of their competence, actions aimed at guaranteeing intervention to the Penitentiary Police force which operates in the last trench of justice, the prison. The SAPPE will evaluate every form of protection, including in court, of colleagues attacked and threatened”, he concludes.
