Judge Stefano Venturini died following a terrible motorcycle accident that occurred yesterday in Rome on Via Giustiniana. Admitted to the Sant’Andrea hospital in very serious conditions, he died this morning.
Venturini, 62 years old, originally from Tagliacozzo and a life spent in the Avezzano court, was riding his motorbike and was on his way to the Court of Appeal when he crashed into another two-wheeler driven by a fifty-year-old. The latter was taken to the emergency room of the Gemelli Polyclinic for minor injuries. According to what we learn, the magistrate is the 70th victim on the streets of Rome and its province since the beginning of 2024.
The judge was passionate about skiing and in his free time was a master on the slopes of Abruzzo. The mayor of Ovindoli, Angelo Ciminelli, remembered him with these words: “THE FRIEND, the COLLEAGUE Stefano VENTURINI is no longer here. I met Stefano personally in 2001.
